I was a bit spooked by the street and the entrance at first, but the place turned out to be wonderful—super pretty, clean, and cozy, with an amazing location. Everything else was perfect.

The location was spot‑on in the heart of the city, yet our stay at Avignonesi Suite was quite disappointing given the potential and prime spot. We tried reaching out by phone, Booking, and WhatsApp before arrival, and the replies usually came days later and were often unclear or unhelpful, making even simple requests tough. We booked two rooms; one had no working air‑conditioning. We reported it right away, but were just told to lower the temperature, which we already had set. No action followed. Luckily the heat wasn’t extreme during our stay, but sleeping without AC was still unpleasant. Some room details were lacking: one room had coffee pods, the other didn’t. The toilet paper was old, with only two rolls per room for four days for two people, and getting extra rolls was not quick due to the communication issues. Cleanliness was below expectations: a thick dust layer under a chair, mold spots on tile grout and walls in the bathroom, and a heavily worn toilet that clearly needs replacement.

The location is nice and it’s easy to get there by metro or bus. Check‑in was hassle‑free and the host answered any question at any time.
