Hoe gasten het hotel beoordelen, aspect voor aspect.
We were disappointed…the bathroom was nice, airy, half‑outdoor, which I liked. It was a good spot for going out and walking to various eateries. We didn’t check the facilities: no AC, it was noisy at times, a few bikes rode through the property. The roof leaked onto the head of the bed during a downpour, and a creature tried to get into the room, scratching on the roof, which was especially scary.

The room and bathroom were spacious, with a table and wardrobe inside the room and an open bathroom. The small porch had a sofa, table, and chairs, all in traditional Balinese style. Beautiful plants were everywhere and the place was calm even in the city center, plus the location was close to everything. The bed was comfortable. I only give the staff a lower score because I’m not even sure who they were, there was very little contact, though they seemed reachable by message. Everything was clean except the headboard and the lamp above it, which were full of spiderwebs. The room was a bit dark, but the porch lamp was more effective when you need to see. Living among a Balinese family means there can be some noise from 6‑7 am, but with earplugs it’s manageable.

The room was extraordinary, worthy of a Balinese temple, with a semi‑open bathroom, a nice garden, and a lovely terrace. The family was very welcoming, and the location was perfect—center of Ubud yet very quiet. Nothing negative.

The location and the staff were good, surrounded by everything you need, and the price was very reasonable for the quality. Of course, with that price the bathroom was only okay and not very clean. Over four days, neither our bed linens nor towels were changed. The windows have beautiful wooden decorations but open outside with a mosquito net, so you’ll hear loud noises from insects, birds, and jecos in the morning.

The traditional room in a nice garden was good, and the location was perfect—just a walk from everything interesting in Ubud’s center and a wide choice of restaurants. Our two rooms (the one on the 2nd floor) had a wonderful terrace with an amazing view of Batur, perfect for relaxing and reading a book… visited by monkeys the last day! The garden and structure have good potential but need cleaning and renovation.
