We liked how close the hotel was to the center of Port Louis, but after office hours (at 16h) the area becomes too quiet, making it hard to find anything or move around.

The experience was terrible: the shower was cold, floors were dusty, wind rattled the windows, and we were locked in the room for a while—dangerous if a fire broke out. The room felt outdated and makeshift. When we asked for a discount or to speak with the manager, the receptionist replied, “Imposible as I don’t have contact with the manager or owner,” which sounded like a lie. I’m sorry to leave this review, but we did not enjoy it at all. The maximum value for this place is 30€.

The location is good, check‑in was efficient, and the room was spacious; it’s a bit run‑down in spots but still functional and perfectly situated for a business trip to Port Louis.

The hotel sits in Chinatown near the bus station at Immigration Square, surrounded by several Chinese restaurants. Internet is fast, the elevator works, there’s liquid soap in the bathroom, a fridge, free water bottles, and plenty of hot water in the shower. It isn’t brand new, but everything functions; the power plug next to the bed was loose.
