The hotel lacks air‑conditioning; they gave us old fans that barely worked. The bathroom had no shower curtain or blinds, and when we showered the water almost reached one of the beds.

We were truly impressed by the hotel and its beautiful surroundings. Unfortunately, we arrived later than planned and didn’t have enough time to fully enjoy the grounds, but everything we saw was wonderful. We especially loved the magnificent dragon tree in the courtyard, which adds even more character to this unique place. The hotel’s interior is truly exceptional; it feels more like a museum where every corridor and every room tells a story. We really enjoyed walking around and admiring the countless historical objects and decorative details. It is one of the most unique places we have ever stayed. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Although it was furnished in a traditional style, everything was well maintained, and the attention to detail was noticeable both throughout the hotel and inside the room. Another great advantage was the parking: there was plenty of space, parking was easy, and we had no difficulty leaving early the next morning. The only thing to keep in mind is that the town itself has narrow streets, so it is worth driving carefully; however, this is a characteristic of the town rather than the hotel itself. We would like to give future guests one piece of advice, especially if you plan to arrive in the evening as we did (around 8:00–8:30 p.m.). Late check‑in may require contacting the owner directly. In our case, we were initially unable to reach him, so arriving at such a beautiful property with no lights on and no one around was a little stressful. For a few minutes, it genuinely felt as though we had stepped into the opening scene of a horror movie—fortunately, only for a moment. Thankfully, the person we had been communicating with responded very quickly, contacted the owner, and the situation was resolved shortly afterwards. The owner came to welcome us, showed us to our room, and explained everything we needed. Although he did not speak English, communication was surprisingly easy using Google Translate, and we even used ChatGPT to explain in Spanish what time we would be leaving the next morning. He clearly explained the departure procedure and assured us that the parking gate would be opened early for us. We mention this not as a criticism, but simply as helpful advice for future guests arriving later in the evening. Once we met the owner, everything went smoothly, and we appreciated both his hospitality and the prompt assistance of the person who had been helping us before our arrival.

A media hora de la capital, y a pocos minutos de supermercados y restaurantes, tiene un jardín y unas vistas preciosas. Cuando llegué, no había nadie en la recepción y tuvimos que esperar un buen rato hasta que llegara alguien; tuve que dar vueltas buscando a alguien. Las instalaciones son antiguas, pero eso es lo de menos. Las habitaciones no tienen ventilación alguna, lo cual es importante en esta época de calor, y la puerta de la habitación no se cerraba por dentro; hubo un momento en que, mientras dormía o intentaba descansar, alguien abrió la puerta desde fuera. No hay intimidad en la habitación porque es muy fácil que te abran, ya que no hay manera de cerrar con llave desde dentro. El hotel necesita mejorar en muchos aspectos.

The owner is a very friendly man and the whole villa feels like a "wau". Every detail makes it feel like stepping back in time, and the breakfast was absolutely one of the best in my life.
