Bedcomfort 8.8/10
The resort had a forest vibe, the breakfast was tasty, hot water was available 24 hours, the pool was beautiful and never crowded because it wasn’t full. Free yoga sessions were offered at 10 am on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays; although it was my first visit to Phú Quốc and I explored both North and South Island parks, a second stay would be perfect for a relaxed staycation. The property is a bit remote, but they rent scooters on site—20 million VND for a day, and I heard a nearby guest got it for 18 million after a 10 % discount, so bargaining is possible, even if the savings are small. The billing was a mess: I booked on 29 April, and my Cathay United Bank credit card was charged in May even though the hotel said the card only secured the reservation. When I checked in September, the front desk asked me to pay again, claiming they would refund if I could prove the earlier charge, but my itinerary combined many bookings so the bank statement didn’t show a clear one‑to‑one match, making it hard to prove on the spot. I ended up paying twice, and I’ll have to sort it out with the booking platform and my bank after returning to Taiwan.
We had a very successful stay and felt absolutely comfortable. The whole team was exceptionally friendly and attentive, and from the first moment you feel warmly welcomed. The hotel is somewhat remote, but that gave the desired quiet, and a huge plus was the hotel’s own shuttle service—free electric car rides to the main street from 7:00 to 22:00. Our room was spotless, cozy, and well maintained. The breakfast was an absolute highlight—a great selection, fresh and especially tasty. Everything just fit. The mattresses were a bit hard, but I usually don’t sleep on soft mattresses, so it didn’t bother me.
Everything about the place was great. The location was a bit too far out, but the buggy service compensated for that.
Breakfast was really good, but the water was lukewarm, there was no TV, no desk phone, and any issues had to be taken to the outside reception desk.
“Will strongly recommend visitors to try out for themselves.”
The place was very green and perfectly in sync with Mother Nature; every material used in building it was sourced locally and environmentally friendly, and there was nothing to complain about.
