The air conditioning was terribly ineffective.

The value for money was outstanding – over 40 m², breakfast included, three beds, separate bath and toilet, fitting two adults and a primary‑school child for just in the 16,000‑yen range – the breakfast was delicious with a live‑cooked omelette rice station, a wide selection of food, drinks and desserts, and parking cost only 1,000 yen per night with free in‑out; on the downside, there’s no nightlife nearby (only a convenience store), the ceiling AC dripped water likely because of the humid season and some wallpaper seams were peeling, and the affiliated parking lot was hard to locate since the gate lacked any QUINTESSA signage, forcing me to call the hotel for clarification.
The variety of dishes was good.

The hotel was generally clean and every staff member was courteous, they even gave me directions to the places I wanted to visit after check‑in and arranged a taxi smoothly at checkout, and the coffee machine beside the front desk was a nice touch; however, the door of the fridge in my room was broken and part of the bathroom showed some black mouldy spots that stood out in an otherwise tidy room, and I wish the coffee service weren’t limited to 15:00‑22:00 without a specific time slot.
