Toby, our host, was delightful, very helpful, and knew the local area well, offering great dining suggestions. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless with high‑quality linen. Toby’s attention to detail throughout our stay was superb, and each day we enjoyed a freshly made, locally sourced breakfast. A perfect “Mine Host” for anyone seeking intimate, friendly service.

The quirky property was lovely and very comfortable, with an excellent host who was helpful and knowledgeable about Lymington and the surrounding area. Its position right in the town and near the harbour was ideal, and having a car space was a bonus.

We enjoyed a delightful stay at Britannia House. Communication with Tobi was very good and friendly, and it helped that he speaks German. We had a beautiful room in this unusual building. Breakfast is served at a large table in the open kitchen with other guests, which is nice because you immediately meet interesting people. Mostly Americans were there, but sometimes visitors arrive. So a lively address right next to the harbor. Tiptop!
