The hotel sits in a remote spot surrounded by farmland, sheep, and a nearby lake, giving plenty of open space to wander. The mobile network is almost nonexistent and the Wi‑Fi is painfully slow, making it impossible to plan activities for the next day; the shower’s water pressure was also disappointingly low.

The reception staff were friendly, yet there was no heating—both the oil radiator and the standard system failed. The shower tray filled with water, so a quick shower was the only option; the back‑to‑front door latch was awkward. Breakfast wasn’t cooked as shown on the website, so my expectations were off before I booked.

Location was perfect. Not clean at all. When we checked in, we found out that flush is not working. So we asked on reception and they informed that it’s just happened yesterday. They didn’t inform us or didn’t arrange something else. Instead, they gave us another room which was not cleaned as well. Bin was full. Towels were still behind the bathroom door. We went on reception twice, but no one was there. No handwash in our room
