The property was wonderful and well‑maintained in a fantastic setting. I rented a cottage for a week at the start of July. The furnishings were practical: a medium‑sized fridge, satellite TV (no German channels and no English news channels), and a parking spot right in front of the door. The Wi‑Fi was extremely bad—no streaming possible. Breakfast was a bit of an adjustment: no rolls, no fruit, the same two types of sausage and one kind of cheese every day, but there were daily French toast and a kind of pancake. I won’t rate that negatively—maybe that’s just how it is. Dinner at the restaurant was always tasty; I ate fish all week 😋. The local beer is definitely recommended. Bottom line: the value for money for the accommodation and the restaurant was excellent. What I really want to criticize is the lack of friendliness from the staff. A “Good Morning” or “Hello” was usually met with a bored expression. The only exception was a young woman named Bernadett (she handled check‑in and check‑out). Many thanks to her. 👍

We keep returning to Campul Cetății with great enthusiasm every year, and this visit marked our second trip within a month. We especially value the peace of the area and, of course, the perfectly cooked trout served at the Han restaurant. The rooms were roomy and spotless, and the breakfast included in the price was delicious. I have absolutely nothing to complain about.

The exterior is nicely arranged and the food was good. The staff attitude was disappointing; they moved us from our table to another salon even though we had already settled in. The room was stuffy, damp, with worn linens. The sofa bed was uncomfortable and I couldn't sleep on it. The lake was full of dead fish.
