We stayed here in autumn when it was getting cold and enjoyed the woodstove; there are many cozy places to relax, read or work, and the staff were very kind and helpful. The breakfast was lovely with delicious homemade yoghurt, banana bread, and eggs.

The description of this place is deceptive; it sits on a 3 km dirt road riddled with random potholes, far from everything. On arrival you must remove shoes and slip on flip‑flops, which makes lugging luggage a hassle since there’s no elevator and you have to put shoes on and off every time you carry a bag. The building feels old and the walls are thin, so privacy is almost nonexistent. Rooms are cramped, lack a TV, and rely on a communal screen. The bathtub looked unclean, pipes groaned while showering, and the toilet handle had to be held for three seconds to flush. Beds were uncomfortable and squeaky, waking me up each time I shifted. I didn’t get a good night’s sleep during the two nights I stayed. None of these issues were mentioned in the listing, and I only discovered them after booking. I would have chosen a different hotel if I’d known.
