“Gorgeous, peaceful home with stunning pool/facilities”
The spot was spot‑on for us – a handful of cafés and eateries in the tiny town of Buger, but with a car we could hit the gorgeous beaches and surroundings. Only 30 minutes from the airport, and under 10 minutes from Sa Pobla for food and groceries. We grabbed bottled water (the tap on the first night was too late to head out and not that great). The house was fantastic – a family of four adults and a toddler had plenty of space. We ate breakfast on the terrace, swam in the pool, and had BBQs by the pool. The showers had decent pressure (I’ve had weaker ones before). We ended up paying for electricity (we knew about that) and was pleasantly surprised it was only about 72 €; it felt reasonable for our usage. The café/pâtisserie in Buger has beautiful cakes and is a short walk away. Another café just outside the church is very reasonably priced (around 4 € for coffee and coke). Handy if you don’t want to drive. Port de Soller was the highlight of our trip and worth the 45‑minute drive. Alcudia beach had the clearest blue water and white sand, but Port de Pollenca beach was probably my favourite for quieter family vibes. The only downside was a few local stray cats on the property – about three adults and three kittens at the time. They were persistent about coming in or stealing BBQ food, which was a bit off‑putting for my allergy; I got scratched by one when I tried to shoo it away from my infant son, so I was concerned they might attack him. That’s the only negative and it didn’t take away from our amazing stay. I’d definitely recommend it and would come back.
