Blue Coast Hotel

The room and bathroom were spotless, the location was reasonably easy to reach and parking was adequate, the price seemed fair, the bed was large and comfy and the air‑conditioning was very cold. Unfortunately the guests next door were noisy—adults and children shouted in the corridor and even knocked on the walls, while the people upstairs kept dropping heavy items until after midnight, a disturbance that, while common in many hotels, had no remedy.

“Very affordable stay but would pay more to stay somewhere more comfortable”

The location is good. The staff was attentive – the first room we were assigned had a slight cigarette smell upon entry, so we were able to switch to a different room. The lobby area offers free toast and instant noodles to make, and there is a water dispenser. The room was a good size to unpack luggage. Although clean, the room seemed worn down. Even with the AC on, it felt humid throughout the night of our stay. The bed was not comfortable because it was hard, and the blanket was too thick/hot for summer (compounded by the fact that the AC was not strong enough even though it was set pretty low), which led to poor sleep.

The staff were courteous and friendly. Parking was scarce; when the lot filled up I struggled to find a street spot, it rained during my stay and even the room leaked a little, and there was no breakfast included, which would have improved the experience.

The price was affordable and the value for money was high. It does not necessarily have parking.

“有待加強”

The property offered a parking lot and a bathtub in the room. However, the room smelled odd, the walls were dirty and the bed was not as clean as expected.
