“Encantador. Amei!”

It’s a charming place that gives a hard-to-translate sense of peace and welcome; the Freitas who greeted us are lovely and make the experience even more special, and everything is beautiful, especially the view, one of the most breathtaking on the Amalfi Coast, leaving a lasting memory of its beauty and the good feeling it gives us. The breakfast was plentiful with breads, cakes, biscuits, cheeses, but I missed the eggs.

The gardens and views were gorgeous and the building itself was lovely, and the staff were delightful, attentive, and caring. However, the constant traffic noise from the road below made it hard to sleep even with the windows shut, leaving the nights stuffy and restless. There was no air conditioning, which I had expected, and the narrow roads with frequent speeding and careless drivers felt rather dangerous for walking.
