We were happy with the location, right near the wedding ceremony, and the quirky option of staying in a troglodyte room. Nothing else stood out.

Sleeping in a troglodyte room was a unique experience, the temperature was very pleasant, and the owner was very friendly.

We spent two nights in the cave room, which surprised my wife on the first leg of our European road trip; Benoit and his wife were excellent hosts and made the place a perfect base for exploring local wineries, the room was great and breakfast was a delicious way to start each day. We wish we could have stayed longer!

The cave room was beautifully furnished, the bed super comfortable, and the shower excellent; the cool, quiet cave was a nice escape after hot sightseeing, and the hosts were very helpful with plenty of local tips, giving us an excellent stay. The outdoor seating area was a thoughtful touch but not very comfortable, and because the property is built into the cliff there are no real gardens or shaded spots for outside relaxation, though we were very happy in our cave!

The quietness of the site and the temperature inside the cave room were great, especially since it was over 40 °C outside; it was a unique experience to sleep in a cave once, the sanitation facilities were excellent and nicely finished, and the host and hostess were very kind and welcoming. The humidity in the room was noticeably higher than outside, which takes some getting used to, but there was a dehumidifier that made it much less of an issue; it remains a cave, so we’re not going to complain.
