“If you are going to party, it's perfect. But for some chill and quiet look for something else.”
The hotel sits right in the middle of the historic center, close to everything. They let us check in early without any hassle. There’s a nice bar on the lake’s edge with a beautiful view. The room’s design is nice and modern. The main problem was the noise—the walls are super thin. There was live music in the bar on Saturday, which was fine; we knew about it from other reviews and the music was good, but other guests were the issue. You could hear everything. Especially when there was a table with chairs in the hallway. Our neighbors used it at night and it felt like they were in our room. Then there was a person who seemed like they didn’t want to talk to tourists at all, so we always had to catch a bartender to ask for something. Breakfast started at 9 a.m. We love sleeping, but we had limited time in Ohrid and had booked a boat, so it was too late for us and we missed breakfast twice out of three days. We had to ask for it; until then nobody seemed to care. I don’t expect 5‑star hotel service, but at least a simple “Hello, what do you need?” would be nice. There were a few small defects in our room (I didn’t mind any of that, but there were simply too many to ignore): the shower holder was broken, the toilet seat was loose, the coat rack rail was broken, and the TV didn’t work.
