The Glenrowan Kelly Country Motel, situated opposite the historic Glenrowan Siege site, features an outdoor pool and BBQ area amidst lush succulent gardens. Air-conditioned rooms offer free WiFi, flat-screen TV, DVD player, refrigerator, tea and coffee facilities, and electric blankets. The motel is a short walk from Ned Kelly museums, and close to the Milawa Gourmet Food and Wine Region.

It was cozy and comfortable, but the name on the front was confusing, and the air‑con heating didn’t work.

I stayed in a spot that was really convenient, the rooms felt fresh and spotless, and everything was tidy. No complaints at all.

The location was good, but the only place to eat dinner was the pub next door, which was closed that night. The hotel staff didn’t know this when we asked after seeing a sign down the street. The only alternative they offered was to drive 15 minutes into Wangaratta. The room was dated: clean but old and worn, with carpet that was clean but old and worn. We left and got another room in Wangaratta, and everything was fine again. I couldn’t sleep in that room.
