A charming little village tucked into the mountains, perfect for cycle touring even though it’s up a steep hill, the vistas are stunning. The family‑run guest house is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the beds are among the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in, letting us rest soundly. They served a delicious traditional Albanian dinner and the breakfast was also very tasty and traditional. Great value overall, and I’d recommend it.

We were biking through the area and this place became our favorite pit stop. The family was welcoming, even though English isn’t their first language—they just used Google Translate. They even cooked dinner for us. In this tiny town there’s no other option, or you’d have to head back onto the main road.

The locals here are incredible. I had an emergency on my way to the hotel and the family rushed me to the hospital—couldn’t have asked for kinder help. They gave me a lovely breakfast and arranged transport back to Tirana airport so I could fly to the UK for treatment. The room was clean, the bed comfy, and the people were just so kind. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

The owner is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, we slept wonderfully, and the bathroom was a real treat.
