“外見は古いがお部屋は広くてきれい”
The room was large and they offered a morning coffee service, but of the three baths I tried, the large public bath on the first floor showed noticeable wear.

Everything was comfortable and the service was excellent, though walking up the hill was exhausting at first, it became manageable.

This charming old-fashioned place exceeded our expectations in every way. The onsen bath was absolutely fantastic, and our spacious room was a perfect retreat after a day exploring the beautiful surroundings. We loved the peaceful atmosphere and the warm hospitality of the staff. It's a great spot for nature lovers and those seeking a tranquil escape.

My wife was thoroughly impressed with the bath and the staff, and she even slept better than she has all summer. I was a bit disappointed with the futon, which could have been thicker, but overall our stay was pleasant. Getting to the bath was a bit of a trek, but it was worth it in the end.

This classic Yumura onsen hotel is a true gem in the heart of the town. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated in traditional Japanese style, with plenty of storage space and comfortable futons. The onsen on the 2nd floor is stunning, surrounded by lush greenery and natural beauty. However, the onsen on the 1st floor is a bit more basic and lacks a view. Be aware that there's a rotating schedule for the onsen, so it's best to plan ahead and check the schedule before booking.
