“Wir werden hier niemals wieder übernachten. Sehr enttäuschend!”

The breakfast was very good, and the staff in the dining room and with luggage were friendly and courteous, yet the rooms are actually much smaller than shown on the website. The location is terrible: a huge public toilet building stands directly in front of the hotel on the left, and many shabby-looking fisher cabins are right across from it. The path to the beach is dirty and muddy, and the Baga beach section is littered with trash that nobody seems to clean up. Street dogs and cows roam everywhere. We were charged 45,00 INR VT for every beer! The stalls outside claimed that Goa doesn’t tax alcohol.

I had a jacuzzi, but initially I struggled to get hot water in it.

“Not a pleasant stay”

The bungalows were cute and the garden nice, but arriving to a room where the toilet hadn't been flushed by the previous guests was unpleasant. The safe was broken, the restaurant was closed, and breakfast was served in the room (we were warned about this). The room wasn’t cleaned during our stay. Whenever we needed something from reception, they’d say “we’ll go now,” but it always took several calls or a trip to the front desk to get it. On the last day a huge dead cockroach was found in the bathroom. This isn’t a place I’d return to.
