Breakfast was okay, but the beds creaked loudly, making a restful sleep impossible. The room itself was very small and cramped.

The place is very quiet, yet only a few minutes to the brewery. It’s a charming old house with parking right outside the door and a garden with seating. The reception was friendly, the breakfast tidy, and the price pleasant. The room was clean aside from two spiders and their webs. The upper rooms still use old, bulky keys, and my bathroom was either funny or cheeky depending on mood. The sink blocks the shower, leaving only an arm's length to step in; that’s still okay. The toilet sits between the shower and a slope that starts high at the hips, so you have to crawl in carefully—larger or less agile people would struggle. I hope that was just my toilet.

Nice spot on the edge of Willingen, so not in the center among hotels and restaurants. The accommodation has a cool, authentic vibe.

The location is close everywhere. For us, the bed made a lot of creaking noise and the mattress was hard.

The pension’s location was ideal—just outside the party strip, but only five minutes away if you want to go. Two supermarkets were also right nearby. After returning from activities, you could relax in the large garden and grab paid drinks from a provided fridge. Some garden furniture had seen better days and was a bit wobbly, but that’s a minor complaint; once you got used to it, it wasn’t an issue.
