The view is incredible, definitely the highlight of the hotel. The restaurant, however, serves food that’s sold as “cuisine” but the dishes are mediocre and the service is poor. The hotel’s name is misleading: there’s no “Luxury wing” at the end, only “Pyramids Height Hotel,” which makes it hard for taxis to find it if you don’t know the exact name beforehand.

We picked this place because of its location, offering a view of the pyramids and the sphinx. From the rooftop you’re about 200 m from the sphinx, which in that area makes it one of the best hotels. It’s also very cheap, so you have to dial down expectations a bit. Given the price and location, it’s a great option and I’d recommend it with a few caveats. Breakfast is a very limited buffet with only fruit, bread, and a hard‑boiled egg; you can request scrambled eggs or an omelet, but you never get what you order. Dinner is cheap but not great; in the neighbourhood it’s one of the better choices, but we only dined there once and then went downtown for better restaurants. The beds and pillows are very hard.

The location is excellent, and the panoramic view from the terrace really makes a difference. The rooms are new, and I’d recommend it to people who don’t have high expectations. The staff is very kind and helpful. I’d advise those with higher pretensions to look elsewhere. Breakfast isn’t very varied, and despite the hotel being new, it already has some noticeable flaws. The hot water in the bathroom isn’t enough for two showers. Rooms are only renovated if requested. In some rooms, even though the view was supposed to be on a point of interest, you faced a building (in construction?) and could only see a small piece of the pyramids.

The staff was fantastic (thanks to Verena and Abdu for their kindness). The location is very good; from the rooftop you could almost touch the pyramids, and the pool was a big plus when it was hot. The value for money isn’t exceptional. I’m disappointed with the pyramid‑view room (it’s not a direct view, just a side view). The hotel’s finishes leave something to be desired (windows don’t close, taps are poorly fixed to the floor…) but nothing that stops a good stay.

The terrace and its view, the restaurant with good food. The hotel was unfinished; the rooms looked okay, but there were cables outside, and the bathroom wardrobe wouldn’t open because the molding didn’t allow it. Half the floor was renovated, the rest was in progress. The pool was a bathtub, but with good views; the cleaning could be much better.
