“Veldig trivelig sted”
The location is good and the staff very friendly. However, there are many stairs and levels, and the ground‑floor windows have no locks.

The hotel offers Scandi-inspired social spaces, a bar serving local Cornish drinks, and rooms ranging from single to family-friendly, including dog-friendly and accessible options. Everyone we met was extremely friendly and helpful, the hotel is tastefully decorated, comfortable and spotless, and the parking is good; it’s only a short walk to Truro’s centre. On a cold evening, while the rest of the hotel was warm, our top‑floor room was chilly with no heating. We asked for the heater to be turned on and were assured it would be, but we didn’t notice any change.

Perfect for what we needed and wanted. Nothing to add.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. All the common areas downstairs are beautifully decorated and furnished. The location is quiet and just a short walk to the town centre. Our room (2) was a great size, with two single beds pushed together to form a super king. The beds were very comfortable, the TV huge, and there were plenty of sockets. There’s ample parking at the back of the hotel. The bathroom needed a refresh, was very old‑fashioned with only a bath and a shower attachment for washing hair, and there was no stand‑up shower. Because the beds were two singles pushed together, a wider duvet would have helped us avoid fighting over it all night. We’d also prefer a more substantial cooked breakfast rather than just continental, but they do offer boiled eggs, which was a nice option, and the breakfast is advertised as continental, so no surprises.

The style is nice and the car park good. The dinner bar was also a great option. Luggage was a bit tricky in the narrow corridor, but it was okay.
