A superb guesthouse inside a temple house. It’s not far from the center and very quiet. The room was pretty and spotless, even with a kitchen available. The value for money is excellent. The owners are lovely and there are plenty of tiny, adorable dogs.

The family was very friendly, the garden gorgeous, and the place extremely quiet. I loved staying in this neighborhood surrounded by many Balinese families. It’s a bit away from the busy center, but close enough that a Grab or Gojek can take you there in 5‑10 minutes. The rooms are clean and simple, with a hot shower and good water pressure. There are quite a few dogs, which is great if you like them. I’d stay again. The host kept trying to sell me a bike tour and rental, which annoyed me a bit; it would help if they mentioned this upfront or in a brochure in the room. I wasn’t sure when rooms would be cleaned, so I had to ask, but they did clean them. It would be useful to tell guests at the start what to expect—just ask if you want your room cleaned.

A very cozy guesthouse in a good location. The hosts are very kind and pleasant, offering help with everything. It’s calm and quiet. I felt comfortable staying here and recommend it.

I can’t overstate how amazing this stay was! The whole family made me feel at home while still respecting my privacy and space. I’ll definitely return next time I’m in Ubud. The room was clean and fresh, the bed very comfortable. Throughout my 3‑week stay there were so many thoughtful touches that made me feel cared for, even getting to enjoy Nyepi in this special place. Other highlights: easy airport transport arrangements, a beautiful welcome display upon arrival, flexible and easy motorbike rental, complimentary tea, coffee, and snacks every morning on the front porch, a nearby efficient laundry, and a location on a quiet, serene, lush local street that’s still walkable to central Ubud. Nothing else to add.
