A beautiful B&B overlooking the harbor, just a 2‑minute walk into Elburg’s center; open the doors and you’re immediately on the waterfront terrace. The beds and shower are good, and the kitchenette comes with a fridge and everything else you need. The owners were also very pleasant. Breakfast isn’t included, but ordering it was easy and inexpensive. In terms of location, we can’t think of a better spot in Elburg. The only downside is that the B&B sits on a fairly busy road; we didn’t mind, but if you’re looking for absolute quiet, this might not be ideal.

The exceptional charm of this former eel shop turned cozy B&B is remarkable. Its location on the old port quay is outstanding! The owner’s proximity and willingness to accommodate our requests—like storing our bikes overnight—was very helpful. The only drawback is limited luggage storage, though it’s enough for short stays. Nothing else negative.

Cozy, clean double room with a separate kitchen (no oven) right by the harbor; the owners’ family lives next door; great price‑performance (145 € per double room per night), very clean, free parking 5 min on foot (you can unload right in front of the door). Cars always park directly in front of the window because of a traffic narrowing; heavy traffic; a bit noisy.

We booked Havenzicht as a gift for our parents, and they loved it! The setting is very cozy and spotless. There are nice restaurants just a two‑minute walk away, and the village of Elburg itself is charming with shops and lively terraces. Jeanet is a very kind host who thinks of everything to make your stay enjoyable. It’s definitely worth recommending—you won’t regret it. We’ll book again, but this time we’ll do it ourselves. The only suggestion is a few more easy‑to‑use chairs and a bit more hanging space for clothes, but that shouldn’t stop you from booking.
