“Perfect”
The front desk staff were extremely friendly, even reminding us to join the IHC program and then granting us early check‑in and late check‑out. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. The lounge didn’t have much, but with club lounge access we could pick up house wine or beer at the Manhattan bar downstairs. The gym was fully equipped, making the overall experience fantastic.
Convenient and clean.
The hotel’s location is great for catching the train to the airport and makes getting in and out of Amsterdam easy, though the building itself felt a little tired.

Everything was great: nice view, blackout curtains, on the 6th floor so it wasn’t noisy, and you could open a window. The air‑con worked well. The space was nice and the fridge was small but sufficient for us. The location in Amsterdam was fine—15 minutes by metro and a 5‑minute walk to the station. It felt like a deserted Central Business District on weekends. The on‑site Japanese restaurant was excellent and I’m glad we tried it. The promotion of not cleaning daily to save water meant no top‑up of teabags or milk, so we had to ask for fresh towels every day. The bathroom fan only worked intermittently, so it usually steamed up (we forgot to mention it to staff, so nothing changed). The bathtub was wonderful, though we didn’t use it. Lack of air circulation in the bathroom made it impossible to dry towels, which is why we changed them daily.
