I had an amazing time at Backpacker 644. The price‑to‑value ratio is unbeatable. It sits right on the waterfront, almost touching the Chilota Bay, and is conveniently close to supermarkets, stores, and restaurants. The view from Hain lookout is also easy to reach. I even walked to the Hostel's Estromatolitos Park, a calm <2‑hour stroll along route Y‑629. The place is very quiet, as Porvenir usually is, and Jimena treated me exceptionally well throughout my stay, making our kitchen and dining interactions truly enjoyable; her warmth really makes a difference for travelers away from home. Thanks again to everyone!

The place is clean and comfortable. It isn’t as close to the city center.
