The lodges at Sutera Sanctuary sit in a perfect spot right next to the entrance of the Poring hot springs. The room was beautifully decorated and the bed very comfortable, and we received welcome gifts. It’s a peaceful, natural setting surrounded by lush vegetation, and we enjoyed the place even between two showers. The staff were very friendly as well. The restaurant is inside, so you have to go in and out, which made no sense to us, and we didn’t understand why we had to pay the hot‑spring entrance fee. ===REVIEW 8<|message|>In the end I felt completely misled, with the hotel shifting responsibility to the booking platform when it should have been theirs. I disliked the car access to the hotel’s front door – the steep steps, almost no parking and the difficulty of getting there made it a nightmare. The rooms had no TV, there was no elevator for the upper floors, which is a problem for people with limited mobility. There’s no restaurant or café anywhere in the village. With two guests over 80, one using a walking stick, the facilities made it impossible for us to stay. The hotel manager said he couldn’t refund any part of the prepaid amount because it had to be handled by the platform, and the platform later confirmed that the owner refused any full or partial refund.

I loved my stay here and have stayed in the past. The staff are so wonderful, kind, and funny. I will stay again.
