Access to the highway was a plus. The second room smelled of mildew, while the first room had a heavy cigar odor; the receptionist swapped my room quickly because of the smoke smells. I think they need to replace the carpets. Overall the room was clean, but I can’t tolerate the mildew smell.

The room was very clean and comfortable. I was blindsided by a $250 deposit fee when checking in because I have a Beaumont address. I wanted a cool place to stay since my AC broke, but I ended up spending $407 in one night.

Manager Paula was amazing, and the front desk clerk was equally patient—something you don’t see often with managers. Paula helped me rebook my room, which had been a bit frustrating, and she made the whole process much better. The only downside was that the elevator wasn’t working.

The handicap room #101 was great, but the rain shower head was so restricted that it barely sprayed water; I had stayed in the same room 11 days earlier and reported the same issue. How long does it take you to respond to a legitimate problem, or do you simply want a pat on the back? Fix the shower. The room isn’t cheap, and people staying there deserve better. This is a handicap room with a roll‑in shower—how are those guests supposed to cope with your lack of maintenance?
