We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Sneaton Castle and honestly couldn’t fault it. Our room was beautiful, comfortable and full of character, and the grounds were stunning. The amazing statues dotted around the grounds were such a lovely touch. And, strangely enough, the thunderstorm during our stay made the whole experience even more magical — sitting in such a beautiful, historic setting while the storm rolled through was something we’ll remember. The food was excellent. The kitchen clearly works incredibly well together, and everything we had was beautifully prepared. The braised red cabbage deserves a special mention — it was absolutely delicious! 😋 The staff were all lovely, friendly and welcoming, making us feel really well looked after throughout our stay. Breakfast was another highlight. The Full English was amazing, made with quality local produce — the perfect way to start the day. A beautiful place, fantastic food, wonderful staff and an atmosphere we won’t forget. We would happily return and would definitely recommend Sneaton Castle to anyone looking for a special stay near Whitby

Not a great deal for the price. No disability access 4 flights of stairs for someone who can hardly walk it should be made aware on your website not suitable for disabled

Sensational stay, staff very professional and extremely polite, always happy to talk and help. Dining options extremely good, portions plentiful in fact more than plentiful. Restaurant was excellent in every way. Our room No 5 was brilliant, large bathroom with the best shower ever. The grounds were very well kept, clean and no litter. Sneaton castle had nothing that we disliked. Nothing could have been better than it was
