“Property and location are fine, but management is poor”
The property itself is nice, modern, and looks quite new. It isn’t an apartment but a room with a shared kitchen. The location might feel awkward and unsafe at first because of a central market nearby, yet I felt quite safe. After midday the area can look quite dirty, but it is cleaned promptly. The area can be loud at times, especially in the morning and evening. The property is on the 4th floor, there are two elevators – one for residents that requires a chip, and a second old elevator that I wasn’t sure was safe to use. The self‑check‑in was a headache – I had to contact the host myself, and the instructions were only given at the last minute, when I was already waiting outside the entrance. Before check‑in I was asked to sign a contract and provide photos of my passport. The full text of the contract was not visible during the signing, and I only received it after signing. I booked a room with a balcony, but upon arrival I was given a much smaller room without a balcony; photos of this room are not even shown on the listing. I immediately contacted the host, but was told that the room could only be changed the following day, so I had to stay in the smaller room for the first night. I didn’t receive any compensation, and I could only switch rooms the next day around 17‑00. Other guest reviews mention receiving a different or smaller room than expected, which raises concerns if that’s a common practice. Contact with the host was slow, sometimes taking 30‑40 minutes to answer questions.
