The quiet setting was perfect for escaping city life. A great change of pace was watching the sheep early in the morning and seeing the horses. Our dog felt very comfortable. The only downside was the mosquito problem.
The kids loved having the owner's horses right outside the door and even got to help with their care, which was a real highlight. However, I was a bit disappointed with the laundry facilities - the washer was available, but there was only one drying rack for three apartments, which made it tough to get everything dry. To make matters worse, the dishwasher was out of order, with the fuse blowing every time we tried to use it.
The one major issue we had was with the Wi-Fi - it just didn't cut it, with a really weak signal.
We stayed here again last year and would book it anytime; the evening with the owner was very pleasant and beautiful, and the highlight was feeding the horses early in the morning for our kids.

This place had a lot going for it - the location was peaceful, the apartment was huge, and the garden was a nice bonus. The kitchen was well-equipped, except for the lack of a freezer. However, the furniture was a letdown - the bed was really uncomfortable, the sofa smelled musty, and the internet connection was slow. We also found some dirty dishes left behind, which wasn't great.
