“1st night horrible next night good.”

I was staying in a room next to a noisy one the first night, and the occupants had several kids who started screaming and yelling at 4am. I called the desk, and the staff asked them to keep it down, but instead they turned the TV up even louder. When I called back and the clerk told them to lower the volume, the man began swearing loudly, sounding very angry and threatening, and I felt genuinely scared for my safety. The front desk staff seemed unaware of what was happening, apologized briefly, and mentioned that the room was about to check out. At 75, with a lot of travel experience, I've never had a situation like this.

“A shame to the company’s name”

The location was close to the interstate, but there were plenty of cockroaches roaming freely, and the bed smelled so bad it triggered an asthma attack. The room was non‑refundable, and I could have at least been moved to another room. There was no Wi‑Fi code provided, and the clerk responded with a “who cares” attitude when I mentioned the bugs.
