The pool, gardens, and scenery are solid, beds are big, the fridge is very cold, and the AC works well, yet it isn’t ideal for those who want to walk to nearby restaurants and shops.

We celebrated a birthday in our group and wanted a surprise; the retreat arranged two separate rooms for us, so we stayed in one and surprised the other. The front‑desk staff, Trung Kiên, was enthusiastic, attentive, and very helpful. Breakfast could use more variety; a few extra options would make it easier for guests to choose.

The area is beautiful with mountain views, and free bicycles are available—just watch out, none have working brakes, so they’re fine for short hops but not for long or major roads. Breakfast is really good. The place isn’t the cleanest I’ve been to; a huge hair clump in the bathtub drain was gross, and there was a strong odor from the sink. It’s not terrible, but I expected a bit more for the price. We didn’t get the bathtub‑with‑view room we booked; ours was in the middle of the room, away from the window, which isn’t a huge deal but isn’t what we paid for either. Nothing was truly bad, but I’ve stayed at nicer places in Vietnam for cheaper rates, so this wasn’t my top pick.
