“Love this place! A brilliant stay.”

I stumbled into this gorgeous lodge that feels modern yet still carries that safari vibe. The meals were amazing—tasty and beautifully plated—and the spa was a highlight, though the pool would have been better if the weather had cooperated. My room was lovely, with a super comfy bed and mineral water refilled twice daily. Wildlife is everywhere: monkeys at breakfast, kudus on the trail, giraffes at lunch—truly magical. The staff organized fantastic day trips, and their joy and personal service made the stay unforgettable. Honestly, there’s nothing I can dislike about this place.

The place feels safe, the staff friendly, and the food good. On the first day, the outlets had no power and after 22:00 no one was reachable, which was annoying since I use a sleep mask. The circuit breaker is hidden in the room, but we only found out about that the next morning. The route to Kruger National Park is doable, but a bridge is currently under renovation, so a detour is necessary.

First of all, the staff were charming and welcoming; from the moment we arrived they greeted us in the parking lot with a smile. The place is pretty, feels homely, and they tidy the room twice a day, refill water, provide coffee capsules, and arrange the bed between day and night. Inside the reserve, we were treated to giraffes and wild antelopes at breakfast—an amazing experience! I highly recommend this spot.

The chalets are nice and spacious. The capers had a strong pee smell.
