The location is great, just a 10‑minute drive from Agen’s exhibition palace. Breakfast was decent, offering fruit, yogurt, and homemade cakes. Unlike the guesthouses we’re used to, the owner was discreet, giving the place a more cabin‑like feel.

I was evacuated from the Arcachon Basin after the fierce fires on 24/7/26, so I rushed toward Agen, exhausted and a bit lost. By chance I discovered the Clos, a beautiful spot in nature that feels warm, picturesque, and authentic with its stones and wood. There’s a pool, and I stayed four nights there. Every day I mingled with other holidaymakers, and the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. The staff listened to me and I’m grateful for their service and hospitality. I felt like I was in a bubble of well‑being despite the circumstances because the place is peaceful in the countryside, close to shops. The breakfast was full and balanced, and a small kitchen is available. I thank Jeff and Mounir for their welcome. Long life to Clos St Jean. A big thank you to them! <3

The setting is great, the room is very comfortable, and the building has been carefully renovated just steps from the Canal du Midi.
