The staff and meals were top class, really made our stay. Not much to complain about, but maybe a few more options wouldn't go amiss.

We were welcomed with a smile and the staff were really pleasant, but the rooms were a letdown - the beds were too narrow and the mattresses were like rocks, plus the air was dry and cold.

I loved the peace and quiet, no noise or distractions, and no TV in the room was a bonus. The decor was a bit downbeat and the furniture looked like it hadn't been updated since the place opened, but that's probably down to the owners.

Breakfast was a highlight - loads of choice and it was all really tasty. But dinner was a different story, if we got to the restaurant at 7:30 there wasn't much left to choose from, especially with the main courses and some of the starters.

The location was perfect and the staff were really attentive, that's about it - no complaints otherwise.
