The room was freshly renovated, comfortable and well insulated for the location, but the breakfast was awful 🤢, the coffee was unpalatable, the fruit juice contained no fruit, was heavily colored and overly sweet, and the dishes were not heated.

I chose this place because of its great location. The room amenities were as expected and pretty standard, which is fine. It offers good value for money based on the location. However, the hotel seems to have been untouched for a while after the ibis acquisition. Fixing issues like the leaking bidet, the dirty dining area in the restaurant, and the filthy toilets in the common area would improve the experience.

Staying here puts you right in the lively city centre, which is handy and interesting, and although the rooms don’t come with a hair‑dryer (you can borrow one at reception) the basic facilities are fine and every floor has a water‑and‑hot‑water dispenser that’s really useful; just don’t count on breakfast, and you’ll be fine.
