Персонал отличный. Хозяина стоит беречь этот персонал. Он украшает отель не хуже, чем интерьер отеля. Начну с того, что это не отель, а гостевой дом. Гостевой дом с жадным хозяином, который сам живёт в другом городе, но находится на связи по телефону. Взял с меня больше денег, чем предлагал Букинг.ком Вместо 145 евро взял 200 долларов за две ночи. Что на 35 долларов больше. Я думал он даст сдачу, но этого не было. Во время чек аут сказал, что 35 долларов это за два завтрака. За 35 долларов я бы мог в ресторане Герлы поесть. Не рекомендую никому и Букингу не рекомендую сотрудничать с обманщиками
“Why does it have such a rating on Booking?!”
The only redeeming feature is the location, being in downtown Gherla. I can’t even describe this place: it’s neither a hotel nor a guest house. It’s a shoddy operation run by the Monte Negro Orthodox Church in Gherla, and they don’t mention that in the ads, so you’re left wondering if you’re at the right spot when you reach the door. It’s 3‑4 times more expensive for what it offers! The room was tiny, with a squeaky bed and floors. The lighting was poor, the pine furniture looked like it dated from the 1970s. They make you pay for the stay upon arrival, probably because they know why! Unfortunately I booked and paid for almost a week… I felt like I was living in a cheap student room that hadn’t been renovated in ages. Also, it’s not “adult only” as they claim: I saw kids and heard them playing in the room after 23:00. I don’t recommend this place.

Very clean and the baroque‑style furniture is gorgeous. Absolute quiet and tranquility for rest. The staff are very friendly, everything is spotless, and the breakfast is delicious.
The only bright spot was that the room was clean and the bedding was fine, but that didn’t offset the rest. I was extremely disappointed with the breakfast and customer service. I stayed at a 3‑star hotel that simply didn’t deserve that rating. The breakfast cost €15 for a small plate and a cake, with no juice or buffet, even though the website clearly advertised a buffet from 7:30 to 10:30. At 9:30 nothing was ready—unacceptable. I asked for a commercial gesture because the service was nonexistent, but the manager just said he didn’t do that. It’s incredible for an establishment that claims to give even a minimum consideration to its guests. For comparison, the night before, at a 4‑star hotel, the breakfast was more complete and cheaper! The customer service was absent, the prices were excessive, and I felt cheated overall. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel.
