The hotel was well kept with flowers everywhere and the modern rooms in the annex were excellent, but breakfast was very basic, the restaurant was okay, the atmosphere felt rushed with a focus on closing the restaurant at 20:00, and it was odd that the hotel distinguished between guests allowed in the restaurant and those who could only use the pub.

The walk to everything was short, we stayed a week and had free bikes from day one, the breakfast room staff were especially attentive and friendly, but the hotel restaurant’s food (open only for guests on Monday and Tuesday) was tasty yet the price‑to‑value ratio was poor, portions were too pricey, and on Sundays we would have liked more variety at breakfast.

This family owned and operated hotel is such a GEM! Check in was easy, the rooms were so cute, and updated. The beds were comfy. The hotel had bikes for us to use, and we were able to bike to see the castles, to dinner, and the Biergarten for a drink. Breakfast was delicious as well!. zero complaints!
