“Good value and would go again, despite maintenance work needed.”
The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, the staff is pleasant, and it offers good value; the tea and coffee facilities are excellent. However, while the beds, bathrooms, and tea areas were clean, a closer look revealed some very dirty corners around windows and showers.
The hotel was a nice place and very decent, but the reception during the day and evening was very rude and disrespectful.
“Lovely place”
The room was lovely with a comfy bed and nice bathroom, and the pub downstairs was great; we had dinner and the food was lovely, with staff who were very helpful. The only downside was that the trim on the wardrobe door came loose, but everything else was fine.

The room was spacious and comfortable, looking recently renovated, and the staff were friendly; they even took the trouble to show us how to get back into the building after hours because we were attending a nearby wedding. However, there was only one set of towels in the room, and despite asking for an extra towel before heading out to the wedding, we found none when we returned later; since the hotel is unstaffed overnight, this issue went unresolved.
