The rooms were disgustingly dirty, a real sanitary disaster with worms and insects crawling everywhere, even on the walls; it was a horror scene you could read about in Google Maps reviews, and the staff couldn’t speak English.

I booked eight rooms in a remote spot only reachable by car, and the photos were taken with a wide‑angle lens that didn’t match reality at all. At check‑in every one of the eight bathrooms had major maintenance issues: most had broken siphons with water from the sink spilling onto the floor; some had no water at all, and all lacked hot water. The locks weren’t all working, and the cleaning left a lot to be desired—snails in the bathrooms, cockroaches and flies everywhere. I complained right away, but the owner replied it wasn’t her problem. They require upfront payment. I asked for a full refund from both them and Booking, but Booking refused because the property must handle it. They have two profiles on Booking: one with a higher rating (this one) and another discovered after the stay with a rating of 4.6 (see photos). They are scammers. Do not stay here.

We arrived at the hotel and found that the location was not what was shown on Booking; it was a 15‑minute drive to the main road. We told the owner we wouldn’t stay and asked to cancel, and she said it was fine, but then she finished the booking and didn’t refund us. The first photo shows where the place should be according to Booking, while the second photo shows where it actually is.

How can they have such a great idea as PURPOSELY putting a ROOSTER IN A CAGE in the middle of the garden of a hotel?!!!! It's like they honestly don't care at all about the comfort of the guests and what they feel and put in review. Get ready for its shouting all day and all night. I know it's a standard for any Balinese house. But not for the hotel! Literally NO HOT WATER. After some discussions, they were fixing something and then the water came just BURNING! You cannot mix it, just 1 crane. So I had to mix this burning water with the cold one from closet jet in a plastic bottle to be able to shower somehow. Amazing feeling when you are with your 4 yo kid. The water falling from the washing basin to the floor and your legs because the pipe is not fixed - I saw it was discussed in so mane comments.and still there! Do they read reviews??!! The "carpet" in front of the bathroom was just disgustingly dirty. This might cost 10k rupiah. you really cannot afford to replace it? I don't mind small minimalist low investments guest houses. But it drives me mad when the hosts don't care at all about their guests
