Rooms at Rolleston

Cleanliness, comfortable bed, beautiful white linen, and easy access. The pub next door and the honest box for munchies were great. Almost everything was absolutely perfect. The room was very cold when we arrived, but a portable heater was provided, so it warmed up quickly, though we had to repeat that every time we came back.

“Nice place. Would stay again”

The place is in a good spot and clean, plus they had snacks in the lobby, which was a nice touch since there’s no shop in the village. The towels were too small, and the bathroom lacked a shelf for toiletries or a towel hook. There was no dressing table for makeup or hair, which matters for women.

“Quiet location, shame about the lack of sound proofing, and poor wifi connection.”

The room was comfortable and clean. The location was good for me about 20 minutes away from my weekend course location. The check in instructions and information were excellent and I received them in good time for my arrival. Unfortunately the walls , floors are paper thin. Soundproofing a real issue for me or lack of it. I was in room 2. In the room above the guest could be heard clearly giving her bank card details, I assume on her mobile, I heard every number including the security number. Good thing I am not dishonest. This also meant that everything they said or did could also be heard with clarity. There was a radiator in the bathroom which never reached luke warm, so the towels never dried, which meant that I had to use the additional towels. Thus making added effort and expense for the owners. Having to use the fan heater when there was a large radiator in the room seemed a little strange. Clearly the central heating was not switched on as the radiator did not heat up. It wasn't quiet, it also meant that it wasn't possible to maintain a sensible temperature, it seemed to cut in and out constantly, blowing more colder air than hot. The wifi connection was poor but so was the mobile data connection. Had I been staying and working rather than for leisure it would have been a real issue. I think that it is something that should be mentioned in the description of the facilities. I do not recall having read anything, but it is possible that I may have missed it

“All went totally to plan, easy to find the room key, perfect room with all you need, great safe park”

The room was fantastic, parking was excellent, and everything was hassle‑free—definitely coming back.

The accommodation was beautiful and spotless, with plenty of free parking. It’s a great spot for races and the pub next door is wonderful.
