B&B Dei Decumani, a historic Neapolitan boutique inn, blends 18th‑century charm with modern comforts. Tiled and parquet floors, free Wi‑Fi, air‑conditioning, and private bathrooms with bathrobes create a cozy retreat. Family and interconnected rooms feature dining tables, desks, and TVs. Steps from San Gregorio Armeno, Naples Cathedral, and 8 km from the airport.

Everything you need to stay is provided. There isn’t a room for long stays, but in Naples you’re supposed to enjoy the outdoors and the great surroundings, so that’s fine. The accommodation is perfectly located, and our host was very friendly. Parking is unfortunately a bit far, about 20 minutes on foot. It costs €25 per day if you go with the Guesthouse deal.

I liked the convenience because everything is within walking distance. There was a minor issue caused by flooding, but they handled it with kindness and care.

Close to the centre in the middle of Gamla stan. The hallway and stairwell in the old building were dirty, but the rooms were clean and fresh. The security lock on the outer door required a key to unlock, which is odd if the only key is for the fire exit. My partner might be out with the key!

The location is good. We stayed four days in two rooms: on the first day the siphon overflowed the sink and bidet drains, flooding the bathroom with dirty water. The owner, Fiorella, said they would fix it, and they did. When we returned to the hotel we found there was no hot water. Fiorella explained that a part of the boiler repair wouldn’t arrive until the next day. On the second day we expected it to be fixed, but it wasn’t, so we showered with cold water. Fiorella told us it was due to heavy rains—she lied. On the third day the boiler was still not repaired. We asked for a refund, and she said the tourist tax (88 € for the four of us) couldn’t be refunded, offering a 30 % discount instead. We found similar accommodation in the area at a comparable price, so we demanded a 50 % reduction with the promise of repair—another lie. Then, to our surprise, the shower started flooding the bathroom. Communication with the owner was terrible, full of lies and even raised voices. I asked her to bring a mop at least, and she said she couldn’t because she had a broken foot. On the fourth day we still had no hot water, and the bathroom had a pool of water. For future guests: the lift to the first floor didn’t work for all four days—there are 46 steps to the first floor. The entrance is dirty. I’ve attached photos of the electrical connections. It’s a bed‑and‑breakfast that doesn’t offer breakfast—just a kettle, instant coffee for one day, and two Biscoff cookies. Absolutely terrible.
