The surroundings were nice, but there was no balcony even though it was listed.

Getting around was a breeze and the staff were lovely.

The apartment is very cozy with two floors and is well‑situated right next to the beach. I didn’t like that there are pools or areas that require an extra fee to enter.

Absolutely beautiful, just like our last stay at VDL resort. The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had high ceilings, offering everything you could need for a getaway. The facilities, including the beach club, are gorgeous, and the shuttle around the resort is very handy. Every staff member we met was friendly and attentive, and we’re already looking forward to next year. The only minor drawback was that breakfast at Doce had slipped a bit compared to last year: the buffet was limited, and one morning the “hot” food was cold. We had to ask at the counter for items like yoghurt, fruit, and charcuterie, which was confusing; a printed menu of available items would have helped. We didn’t get to try Smash’s other breakfast option because Doce is so close to the beach and pool, which was our preference, so maybe that was better.
