The place is comfortable, clean, and offers good value for money; Anita is a great host and serves delicious breakfast, so I’d definitely return.

“Good value for pretty accommodations”

The room was a nice size with a comfortable king‑size bed, and the accommodation felt like a little cottage close to the main house but separate, which made it quiet; Anita brought a nice breakfast to our cottage each morning on time. However, when we entered the address into our GPS it directed us to downtown Hermanus, so we kept searching to confirm we had the right address and finally a neighbor helped us understand that the accommodations we wanted were at the same address but in a suburb; she sent further directions after we had left the previous night’s place and we had no cell service or WiFi, so we didn’t realize it until later. It would have been better to include the suburb explanation in the original description or email it earlier, though the suburb wasn’t too far away, so reaching the sights wasn’t a problem.

“Highly recommended, a gem in Sandbaai!”

I stayed just steps from the beach and felt completely safe; host Anita cooked breakfast each morning exactly how I wanted it, right in my unit, and the towels were changed daily along with a thorough cleaning of the room. Over the week my linen was swapped out too, and the overall hospitality and service were simply exceptional.

The apartment was clean and there was parking on the premises, plus the option to grill. However, the unit isn’t actually in Hermanus, a fact we only discovered on the day of check‑in.

The place was spotless and welcoming, with a lovely scent throughout the house, a beautiful garden, and the convenience of parking inside the property. The homemade breakfast was excellent, and Anita proved to be a super host.
