“Cabin - Lovely Mini Home”
Seven out of ten. I was upgraded to the cabin, so I didn’t actually use the room listed in the review. The cabin is private as long as the curtains are closed; the front glass walls are glass from top to bottom and can be revealing, but the curtains keep it private. It overlooks the beautiful back garden. There were two single beds, one of which was made up, and I found them both comfortable. I appreciated having a mini‑fridge freezer. The cabin was a little cold that evening, but the radiators kept it warm. Complimentary teas, coffee, and biscuits were provided, along with a hanging rail for clothes, a sofa, a private shower, a toilet, and overall plenty of space. Driveway parking was available, and there was also ample road parking. A microwave would have been a nice addition. The hand basin’s water was cold, but a hot shower was available. I saw a man walking down the path toward the cabin to retrieve something from an outside storehouse, so keeping the curtains closed—or at least partially closed—was necessary for privacy (not a major issue). I was told that a small dog lives in the home, which might not suit everyone (though I’m not sure if that was mentioned in the advert).
