“Excellent place to stay considering location, cleanliness and overall value, Well maintained.”

A classic roadside motel that’s clean, reasonably updated, and offers great value for the price. The bed was comfortable, and the room came with a small refrigerator and microwave. The grounds were well kept with a large central courtyard. When traveling solo, I don’t need a $159+ per night room—just a good bed in a quiet, clean spot—and the Whitehouse Motel delivers that. I stayed four nights and was very pleased with the overall value. I would have liked a comforter or blanket instead of just a sheet and bedspread, as many hotels—even expensive ones—offer blankets, but they weren’t in the room and I didn’t request extra bedding.

“Owner is welcoming and fair. Decent rooms for price and very clean!”

The location is close to my work, the place is very clean, and the owner is great. The beds are comfortable and the price is fair. I’ll always return to this motel when I’m in Richmond for work. I won’t say anything bad about the hotel—it’s decent. The owner is exceptional. The only downside is being approached by local folks for pot, cigarettes, etc.

The location is good. There are holes in the wall, a bad smell, and it’s dirty.

“Awful”

The police patrol from one end of the motel to the other, yet there were bed bugs in two rooms! We didn’t end up staying because it was filthy, so it was a waste of money. I didn’t like a thing.
