Being a high‑level property, you start looking for flaws. The room was beautiful with a view of the forest behind the building; it was clean, though some previous guests had left coffee stains on the wardrobe door. The free teas and coffee were appreciated. Breakfast was excellent with many savory and sweet options, though the cappuccino was disappointing. We chose half‑board and all the dishes on the menu were to our liking. The dining hall for breakfast/dinner was very large and bright, offering an unbeatable view of the Matterhorn. The transfer service to the town center was useful and highly appreciated, allowing us to avoid driving and parking while reaching the slopes. The staff overall was very courteous; special mention to the spa girl who gave me a very professional leg massage. The only mishap was the hair dryer in our room catching fire during use; I expected better customer safety since we nearly got hurt. I would have liked a deeper explanation of the dishes served (some waiters were very attentive, others less so and somewhat distracted) and especially the wines: I knew the bottles I drank, but an extra explanation would have been appreciated. I understand you can't choose who stays in the hotel, but I would have preferred stricter enforcement of pool and spa rules: it is unacceptable to have people fully wet, in flip‑flops and without a towel inside the sauna cabins.

The location, the facilities, and the staff friendliness were great, but the bed comfort and the SPA were a bit small.

The staff were excellent, the shuttle service was superb, breakfast was very tasty, and the gym was well equipped. The pool in the spa and the space were too small for my taste.
