The breakfast was tasty and convenient, yet each time we returned they treated us as if we were first‑time guests, explaining everything anew, as if they didn’t recognize us regulars.

The hotel is within walking distance of Ōita Station and the downtown area, offers low rates, and the front desk provides amenities and stick‑on coffee that made the stay comfortable; breakfast was delicious across the board, with solid desserts, and it was great to have coffee you could take back to the room, and I couldn’t find any particular fault.

The location and amenities gave great value, so I’d definitely come back, but the drink selection was huge and, as someone who doesn’t drink alcohol, I was thrilled to have so many options to try; the only downside was that getting a few of them meant having to stare at the people behind the counter.
