Everything was very clean and the staff were very welcoming, and it’s a very quiet place. I just wish I could have stayed longer.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, doing everything possible to make your stay hassle‑free – a perfect experience, thank you very much. The only downside was the many stairs, which can be tough for someone with back problems or who is unwell.

A home away from home! Plymouth’s hidden treasure! Quaint and original, with excellent breakfast cooked to order. Overall simply charming!

Breakfast was fine, though there was no fruit. The cooked breakfast was varied, and biscuits were provided on arrival and again when the towels were changed. No shower gel was supplied, though soap was available.
